The Peer Assistance Team provides confidential professional services to any addiction professional whose functioning is impaired due to substance use disorder or other physical or emotional difficulties.
Our goal is to enable the impaired individual to maintain or return their functioning to a competent and professional level. We are also available to assist family members, friends, and colleagues who wish to help the impaired individual.
No one is immune to the
possibility of addictive disease.
WVAAPP’s Peer Assistance program is free and totally confidential. Services may include, but are not limited to:
-
Intervention
-
Assessment
-
Referral for Treatment and Community Support
-
Support and Advice for Family, Friends and Colleagues
