Rachel Lambert is a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) from Jefferson County, WV. She began her recovery journey in June 2017 and remains actively involved in the recovery community. Rachel strives to lead by example and use her lived experience to show those suffering from substance use disorder that recovery is possible. Rachel works diligently to assist and support individuals in choosing their path to recovery, as well as advocate and empower them to have an active role in their recovery and wellness. She is particularly passionate about harm reduction, and also works to reduce stigma and provide education around substance use disorders.

Rachel received her PRSS certification through the West Virginia Certification Board for Addiction & Prevention Professionals (WVCBAPP) in October, 2019. Rachel now serves on the WVAADC Board in the Communications Committee, Membership Committee, and is chair of the Peer Recovery Committee.
